I'm a woman who teaches my boys how to change the oil on our
cars (I also teach our girls). I love knowing how cars work just
like I love knowing how the human body works.
After working on a car, I will put two drops of lemon oil on one
hand and let it run down my arm. It literally eats everything in
its path. Then, I take my opposite hand and arm and rub it
against the first hand and arm. Two drops is enough to "wash"
your hands and arms with. Pretend the oil is soap and use your
hands like you normally would to wash the oil off. Keep your
hands over the sink though, because the oil literally drips off
your skin. Then rinse with water.
One time I was taking the oil filter off too slowly. Oil started
running down the sides of the filter. I put my recycle bucket
below the filter and then I reached up to speedily remove the
filter. The oil just ran down the filter, over my fingers, and
down my arm. It stung all the way down. I have been using oils
for many years so I haven't had oil on my arms in a long time.
My hands are immune to toxins, but my arms are still sensitive.
It felt like the oil was eating my skin. I ran into the house
and did my lemon oil trick and experienced quick relief.
All this means is that for decades I was so toxic that, before,
when oil ran down my arm it wouldn't bother me. Now that I keep
cleaned out with the oils, I know what sensation I'm supposed to
have when something toxic is on me.
My husband has sold
car parts for almost 30 years now. We know many
mechanics. Lemon oil is our trick for daily messes. Thieves
cleaner undiluted when used daily eventually returns the nice
color to the finger tips and nails.
